Good day for a ride then, eh?

Yes, but I won't be able to go riding. I'm about to hop in the car and head up to Flagstaff to see my little sister at NAU.

Have fun! A very long time ago I spent 6 weeks up in Flagstaff. Lovely area. Made two hikes to the top of Sunset Crater Volcano. What a view from the top!

oops! ....and a good morning to the Chief!

Good morning, Tim. How're things up north?

I went for a 5 mile ride this morning with no noticeable ill effects to either me or the bicycle. I bought this one a couple years ago, and really like it for the kind of riding I do around the neighborhood. This is the current version (external link), but feature-wise, it's changed very little since I bought mine. The only thing is, I'm old school, and I still don't completely trust the spokes. On mine, they appear to me some sort of synthetic material, and there are only 16 per wheel. I'm a heavy dude, and they just don't seem adequate. No problems yet, but I'm just a skeptic at times.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Other than having to do some work related projects this weekend, things are fine up here. I may actually find some time to grab a camera and get out for a bit.

I can't ride with my shoulder right now. It's a shame because we have some great bike trails out in west county and the weather is perfect (mid '60s) for bike riding.

I like your bike. I have two - a "Heintz 57" road bike and an old Gary Fisher Hoo Koo E Koo mountain bike, but I'm going to sell them and get something like yours.
