You have more colour than we do so far. Grass is green and growing nicely here, leaves are just starting to grow. So we have a lot of grey and brown still.

It's been such a strange year that our apple trees had no blossoms. They went right to leaves. The magnolias bloomed and lost their blooms in just a few days.

Absolutely....I've discovered that some of the issues I was having were related to system settings. Once I made a couple of tweaks suggested by their support folks, it is running fine and fast....way faster and smoother than 3....more stable than 3. This is a good thing.

BTW....the issues I had were related to my catalog. Part of it was set to render using Adobe 2010 process and part Adobe 2012. Once I converted everything to Adobe 2012.....the bizarre things that were happening just vanished.

Question... what's the easiest way to update all the pictures to Adobe 2012?

I used a slightly different method, but your way is just as easy.

Do you use "Sync" Dan?

Not sure I completely understand all the differences among Sync Vs Settings From Previous Vs Spray Can.

I don't know that I understand it either. I just use sync because that is the first way I learned to do things.

Nice track....but the rain is nuts. Thought Hamilton and Button were going to take each other out after that pit stop.

Dateline: Apple Store, Fashion Show Mall, Las Vegas, NV

Belmondo here.

This place sucks. I suspect for me, it's like a triple-Tuesday would be for JJ.

Just sayin'.

Good news is, I get to go to Fry's later today, and tomorrow, I get to go home.

So after the masochism in Las Vegas, you get to sit in traffic with all the others on the way home? Last night, the airport in San Diego was packed with folks flying to Las Vegas.

The flight into SFO was one of the roughest I've been on in a long time. The pilot ordered the flight attendants seated and belted in for the last half of the flight. Someone hit the call button and they got on the PA and said unless it was a medical emergency, they were not going to respond. The plane got *very* quiet.

Nice family.

My wife was my room mates blind date. He got too drunk and i ended up driving her home. Asked her out and here we are, 38 years later and still going out. :) I wasn't even 18 when we met.

We met on the internet. A friend of mine owns a successful ISP. One of his buddies was starting a dating site. My wife's hairdresser cut my buddy's friends hair. The hairdresser badgered my wife into putting her profile on that new dating site. The rest is history...it'll be 12 years come April 1. No fooling. :-)

It's been a crazy year. Right now, Hiway 29 is closed north of Calistoga due to snow. We've had 8 inches of rain so far in March and more is predicted. It's 38 degrees this morning.

Fry's can be fun. It is really good for esoteric items. I'm looking for a tool to cut square holes in sheet metal/plastic. I think it's called a nibbler.

I have one I could loan you if you want to come down here and get it... :)

We have salvagers who come the nigh before the trashmen come and take anything that has value. I've met the guy and his wife. They make a pretty decent living salvaging. They are mostly interested in metals but some items are good enough to sell outright.

Around here we call them scavengers. IT's a great way to get rid of unwanted items. Some things disappear before they even hit the ground. I suspect most of it ends up in Mexico.

Heather and I met at the zoo. She commented about my motorcycle and as they say "The rest is history." Like Tim, we will have been married 12 years this year.

That would really raise the anxiety level for sure. My worst flight was landing in TX during a t-storm. We were on final and really low and all of a sudden you hear the engines full throttle and a sinking feeling in your stomach. All I could think about was flight 191. We made it back up and went around. 15 minutes later on final again and the same thing. Either the conditions were really that bad (and the looked it) or the pilot was just really nervous from the first missed approach. Third time he made it but it was a rough landing.
