Well that's retarded... That's a long time to have to wait :(

Why the 3-4 month wait?

It's actually a transfer to a different division, same company. I am on a project now and have to see it through to the end.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

Ah, yeah I remember you saying it was just a transfer. Makes sense that they want you on the project until the end though.

Well the good news is you only have 3 months to go.

Yup, that and the team is just being assembled now. The project is in it's infancy. Our official kick-off date is 5/1.

Yes, but I can't leave this one until 6/27.

Vacation + Sick Days + PTO + A week to move + A week to settle in ..

That ought to cut down the wait a little...

Transferring trans-atlantic was a little harder :)

Although they did put me up in a hotel suite for 2 months until we found somewhere to live.

Part of my Saturday was spent retrieving an airplane from where it had been on display. I ended up in the back seat but I managed to snag some aerials along the way...

Nope  I avoided the mega high schools here in the city in favor of one with smaller class rooms and a 99% graduation to college rate. You would be surprised how very few public High schools in this city can boast that statistic. My sister ended up going there and we are trying to get mayras little brother into the junior high school which is even more competitive to get into than the already tough high school. Either than this you would be looking at private middle schools and high schools which charge a ridiculously high tuition fee. Rivaling those of universities. No way. Rather save the money for a college education.
