I suspect he will do that regardless of the award. Perhaps we could name him POTN Non-Photographer of the year.

Hey wait.. I want an award too. Where's the line and can mine have gold lettering on the top.

Speaking of awards..
Every year there are awards handed out at work. This year I got one for some work I did particularly well. They misspelled my name.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.

Everyone that plays on this team gets an award. We believe in the feel good approach! The spelling of your name might not be right....but you got your trophy!

Speaking of awards screw ups....a few years ago, I received a rather prestigious award from the American Legion. Everyone was mad when I didn't show up at the awards ceremony to accept.....problem is....they forgot to send me an invitation to the ceremony.

They invited my whole family....but nobody said a word to me....since it was supposed to be a big surprise. There were lots of surprises that night. ;)

I was working a case on the other side of the state when my dad called me to find out why I wasn't at the ceremony.

Years ago, there was a large real estate franchise called Red Carpet Real Estate. At their high point, they had about 1,200 offices in their system, and we owned one of them. In 1980, our office had the largest volume of sales in the nation, so they gave Lois and me a Cadillac. When they told us we'd won, they told us we'd be getting 'any Cadillac we wanted as long as it was red. It just so happened the only Cadillac that came in red that year was the Eldorado. I didn't want the Eldorado because it was a two-door, and we needed four doors. Finally, they agreed to give us a burgundy Seville, which was as close as they could come to red.

They actually gave it to us in a presentation at our office, but then repeated the whole dog and pony show at their national convention in Las Vegas on stage in one of the big showrooms. at the Las Vegas Hilton. Humiliating.

That car turned out to be the biggest POS I ever owned. At 75K miles, it spun a main bearing, and the crankshaft broke. Even though it was only 3 years old, I gave the car away. I was greatly relieved to be rid of it.

BTW, my license plate was "FREE CAD".

So much for awards. I would have much preferred a leg lamp.

Any generally accepted 'flesh tone' will suffice. That should cover quite a range, but likely rules out blue, bright yellow, green, and of course, red.
