I think this one might need a metallic print.

All our critters are pretty much mysteries. They are all rescues. We know a little background on a couple of them....but no real details.

Woolburr was scheduled to be destroyed the day we got him. The shelter had him listed as a vicious dog. He was vicious because his fur was so matted that it was tearing his skin open. A simple grooming and he has been my best pal ever since.

Dharma was rescued from a hurricane flooded shelter. She was one of the few lucky ones that they were able to get a boat to. Many others didn't make it. She still isn't a big fan of rain and water.

Mikey and her 3 siblings were rescued from a storm drain by the fire department. They never found the mother. We fostered them, bottle feeding and all that good stuff, until they were old enough to be altered. Mikey refused to leave. Guess she sort of adopted us.

Squeak and her siblings were also fosters. Their mom was hit by a car....broke her leg. Somebody just scooped them up and dumped them at the shelter. She and Mikey have been buddies since the day she was big enough to start exploring the house. Seems the other half decided they needed to stay together.

Our house isn't quite as big a zoo as Cat's place.....but it is close. Any critter that finds there way here usually isn't real fond of leaving. We still chuckle about the pup one of the neighbors adopted. She occasionally gets loose and she immediately shows up at our back door. We just let her in to play with our dogs....and call the neighbor to tell them where she is.

Good morning.

Dan, thats quite a troop of fur kids you have there. I love the fractal kitty.

Harm, once Alex becomes mobile, that when the real fun begins.

Jay, fingers crossed for Mrs. Jay. Hope she gets the job.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.

morning vipe

reminds me of the good line in Top Gun

Viper: Good morning, gentlemen, the temperature is 110 degrees.
Wolfman: Holy ****, it's Viper!
Goose: Viper's up here, great... oh ****...
Maverick: Great, he's probably saying, "Holy ****, it's Maverick and Goose."
Goose: Yeah, I'm sure he's saying that.
