It was a busy day today. Mayra and I went on the TD Bank 5 boro tour. Here are some pictures from the phone :D

32,000 Riders at the start this morning. We were in the first 11,000 to ride out:

You can see tip of Manhattan in the upper left corner. The tallest building is the Freedom Tower (replacing the Twin Towers) This is from the finish line in Staten, Island:

WTG Omar!

Makes my return to Bowling look like simply an attempt to get off the couch and walk to the fridge! :(

Enlisted person in the back getting an "incentive flight." Wonder what's going through his/her mind right at this point?

Great stuff
Damn clouds
At least it could rain
If its gonna muck up my moon shoot
At this rate I'll have to take a self shot
And that's a FULL moon and camera would be destroyed

Nice ride Omar. Sure wish the terrain here was conducive to something like that.

I just got back from my bike ride in the dark. I decided to ride the cart path around the golf course here. It was kinda' fun, with lots of little ups and downs, and whoop-dee-doos. You can't build up any speed, so it took a while, but it was fun anyway. The actual cart path is only about two miles, but it's about a mile to get to it, and about two miles back from where it ends at the clubhouse. So I got my 5 miles in, but it was pretty leisurely.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

Indeed...

Latest small step forward:

My photograph of airshow performer Kirby Chambliss at Oskosh graces the cover of the current issue of this online aviation publication.
