Gah... sustained riding at 24-25mph... intense climbs... my contourroam flying off my bike... what a ridiculous ride...

My HR hit 207... that can't be good.

Head exam....soon!

Hey Chief....just getting out and riding is a good thing. I can't believe how much better I feel on most days. Just tell Lois she needs to walk by time instead of distance!

I'm sitting in the waiting room of a car repair shop. I brought our SUV in for it's bi-annual smog check.

On the way over here, I became aware of one of the other perks of retirement: Not having to drive in the morning commute. At 8:30 this morning, all the freeways were at almost a dead stop because of one accident. Luckily, I was traveling in the opposite direction of the normal morning commute so it didn't effect my drive.

As you remember, Lois is short, so a quick walk for her might not impress most folks, but for her, it's an outright gallop. I'm trying to get her to slow down just a whisker, and maybe take a longer route. This will be especially important when it starts to get really hot here.

I'm not short. I'm concentrated awesome!

I was reminded of that last Friday when we drove to the LA Airport to pick up BIL.

I use MapMyRide on my Blackberry. Also available for Android and iPhone.

I'm using MyTracks. It takes a while to lock in, 1, maybe 2 minutes but seems pretty accurate.

Not sure why, but call me JJ.
I used to hate math but then I realised decimals have a point.
