Well, it's 1/2 Tuesday going forward. I have handed over 1/2 of my job. Yesterday was my last presentation and the new buy is taking it over. I still have the other half, but that ends June 27 and I'm out of there.

Happy Wednesday.

Sort of. I have two main responsibilities, one program and the other capital. I handed off all the capital stuff. That's the one where people yell and scream because the stuff they ordered is not in yet. It generally goes like this.

test manager realizes that they forgot to order critical piece of hardware.
They come to me and get it ordered.
Program manager yells and screams because test is behind.
TM claims that needed HW is not in.
All managers scream why it's taking so long. I have to point out that everything has a lead time and the TM just ordered it yesterday.
More silly screaming ensues with me getting the action to get on the phone and convince everyone to push the order along. Then comes the "how could this happen" BS.
I hate Tuesdays.

If you substitute Faculty and Academic Deans for TM/PM, it sounds like an everyday normal workday for me.

It's so great when the rash and inflammation go away. You'll be like a new man, keep chugging along!
