I think the gazillion-calorie food and scantily-clad waitnurseresses probably played a part too...

It isn't really fast food, but it is hard to beat the burgers at Red Robin.

Just saw an ad the other night where it looks like Red Robin is trying to "upscale" their image.

Still too many screaming kids for my liking though.

I just made turkey burgers!! I put in fresh onion and oregano from our garden, roasted garlic and a little bbq sauce, they are super yummy!! I saute onions on the grill that go on top as well.

I believe it was with cheddar cheese. That combination you make sounds delicious :D

Were having burgers on the grill. Gonna try stuffing them with cheddar.

Burger King has actually jumped back to the top of the fast food burger heap with their Chef's Choice burgers....

Our BK has really fallen in quality the last few years. I can see how wendy's overtook them. I have not tried them since their push to re-gain #2

Had a Wendy's double last week. Very tasty burger. Not quite a Big Kahuna Burger but then, I wasn't in the mood to get capped by Jules and Vincent!

I had some most excellent garlic fries last night at the ballpark. No burger, just a great bratwurst to go with it.

You bike riders out there using Strava and "competing" with others might find this interesting.

Hmm, hard call. Yes, by putting the times up they are really encouraging people to go faster. But does it make them responsible? I bet they win that one and the times are taken down from the site.

I like their Cobb Salad. With extra bleu cheese crumbles...

Hey Mel, what moron thought up the design for battery hold downs in cars? I just had to put a new battery in Heather's Suzuki and the hold down was a **** to get back in. I mean, two rods with a less than 90° bend in it going into a hole at least an eight of inch larger than the rod... And of course the battery is mounted right up against the firewall...

I'm not sympathetic to the plaintiffs, but can see how the competitive nature of some people will push them to act quite stupidly. 49mph on a bicycle on a road where anything in excess of 30 mph is considered unsafe for automobiles show a lack of judgment that no doubt was going to kill this guy eventually anyway.

I am really sick and tired of litigation arising out of 'victims' stupidity. Sooner or later, the courts are going to have to stop this insanity. (but it isn't going to happen in my lifetime, or any of yours, for that matter).
