Your post-processing technique gives your images a unique graphic look and feel. It works well on the flip-flops photo because the image reduces down into simple forms. I like the flip-flops scene very well, but would like to see just a touch more sky as it's being awkwardly squeezed between the heavy vignetting and the background foliage.

The fountain image suffers because the over-exposed jet of water intersects the over-exposed sky (white on white), so there is a loss of clarity in form. Clearly delineated reducible forms are especially important with this graphic style imo.

The big killer for the fountain is the blob of sensor dust - why spend all that time processing the photo for that style and then overlook one of the more basic PP requirements.

I like the flip flops though although I think a crop just at the water's edge would work nicely for it to get rid of the sky and foliage altogether.
