Juvenile Bald Eagle. Shots taken at Colvill park in Red Wing, MN. These are pretty heavy crops. I can never seem to be able to get close enough.
C@C is always welcome.

Welcome aboard, Troy! These are some really nice BE shots; I especially like that last in-flight pass. The only thing I can recommend is continue practicing and shooting; you appear to have a good handle on your gear and just need to get out and figure out your vantage points, etc.

And believe me, except in rare circumstances, you won't ever GET close enough :D

Always love the Eagles Troy. I guess they're such majestic birds they need a lot of space....especially when cameras are near.
The 3rd and 4th are very nice Troy. They look like fine crops. The 6th image looks a little soft in the eye and don't know if you can back off the crop a tad or if the focus just missed by a hair. Just more reasons to get back out there - :)

Thanks everyone for all the great comments. I`m going to keep practicing as much as i can. Even if i don`t get any pics that turn out i still have so much fun just getting out and shoting.
