Hi guys...

I have never heard of Sirui before yesterday, but they seem to be getting good reviews online...is anyone here using their stuff?

If you are please tell me what you have and how you like it?

I'm looking at a Sirui CF legs/head combo or Benro CF legs/Sirui head combo...possibly...if I can sell the idea of spending $400 on a tripod to myself haha...

I used a Sirui t-005 for these shots linked below. Use a remote and youll be fine. I have a 5d and 17-40... so fairly heavy and it performed well. I didnt touch it for 2 seconds then I would press the shutter. Shots came out great.

I just got the M-3204 CF legs .I am very happy with this chioce. The legs are strong and easy to use . I am thinking about the K20 bal head but I have to sell some old stuff first . I found them at Lozeau.com on sale till March 31 . They come with a long and short colum .When not extended it is eye level (I'm 5'11'' tall)with my manfrotto 496RC2A little more with the grip. There is no movement with my gripped 50D and Sigma 150-500mm .Before I had the manfrotto 190B and it was very hard to compose a shot because it all sagged so much .
Thanks Vince

Just picked up the M-3204 legs and they are NICE! I am loving life with these things. I had an Oben CF tripod before that was smaller and the Sirui legs are just infinitely better. I mated them with a Manfrotto 468MGRC2 which I also highly recommend. The crazy part is I hear they are the same company (Oben and Sirui), but they definitely put more time into the Sirui line. It came with the smaller middle part (not sure what you call this) so you can shorten it down really low for macro shots, a really nice carrying bag, a carrying strap that actually wraps around the legs and the ball-head, so you can carry it on your shoulder without a bag, twist out pegs at the bottom for when you're on grass or soft ground, a hook to hang weight in the center and it also turns into a very nice monopod. It comes with separate hardware so you can leave your ball-head attached and just unscrew the leg and set it up separately as a monopod. It also had a pretty cool little piece that goes between the camera and the monopod with a strap like a ski pole. I am very impressed with the action of the legs and the strength and lightness of this thing is just incredible. I compared it with Gitzo at B and H and honestly you are getting just as good of a product as Gitzo for half the price. Highly recommended!

I have a T1004x with a G20 ballhead. It's a lovely combo, lighter compared to aluminum cousins from Manfrotto. It holds up my 50D and 70-200 f4 IS in portrait and easily. The adjustable tension allows you to just grab, adjust and let go and your gear won't move. Then you lock it down. I don't use pan lock as much since I don't do panoramas but I think that's a nice touch.

The legs are decent, might be a bit light in the wind but I hang my bag on the hook when that happens.

I bought it from a local camera store who stocked them.

I needed a new travel tripod and saw this one at my local store, haven't used it yet but playing with it at home, i love it so far. Tested it with my new lens and the ball holds just fine under max weight. Cant wait till Thursday to break in the new legs and Lens.
