I am petrified of posting on here because everyone's shots seem so professional, but I have to start somewhere, right?
So, here it goes, my wife and 2 daughters while visiting La Jolla, CA.

These were taken with my 7D and a 17-40 lens.

Gorgeous family.. Post more often. :) I think the more you post and get feedback, you will make little changes and your photography gets better. :)

These are nice though! :) You should never feel afraid to share and get feedback. Thanks for sharing. :)

Agree that the second needs the color. The first is a beautiful composition.I would lower the exposure just a tad though.

You should not have worried about posting...your shots are very well done....I am always a fan of converting to black and white too.

I am a huge fan of b&w, but I agree that the second shot needs to stay in color. Color is such an important part of the story of that scene, black and white doesn't do it justice. LOVE the cheesy expression on your youngest daughter's face in that shot for some reason. For some reason, it just "works." Your older daughter seems to very comfortable having her picture taken, love her smile in that first shot.

Your wife is a natural in front of the camera. I love how she making solid eye contact with the camera and just seems so content. All your girls are beautiful!
