Caught these guys off the coast of Jamaica

Anyone knows the species? Looks like a Pelican but divebombs:

Wow pretty cool shots ! Does it dive bomb into the water or it swoop if it gets close ?? Really neat

Brown Pelican. I have loads bombing outside my window. The immature ones have a brown neck, non-breeding adults a white neck and the breeding adults have a mostly red neck with a thin white stripe.

Yeah they were splashing, but only for shallow dives. Let me see whether I got a half-usable splash shot.

They're brown pelicans, they're so buoyant they are only able to shallow dive. Great shots uOpt.
