Summary: Take several shots of the same scene--images are procecced in-camera/phone, editing out any pesky people that aren't in all of the shots.

Very cool app--and it appears to only be available on Android devices. This would make life a heckuva lot easier for us DSLR users in heavy-traffic areas. Hopefully a feature like this gets added into future bodies, but I'm not holding my breath. We've already got cameras that take multiple shots for auto-HDR, bracketing, pano... this wouldn't be much different. Just pay licensing fees... But one would imagine that the experience would be improved if the LCD was a touchscreen.

Of course, this type of thing could be handed in post-processing, but boy would that be a lot of work. And Adobes intelligent spot-healing is all but useless for large patches.

This app is enough to make me switch from iPhone to Droid :D

There's already a device for this.

It's called the Lee Big Stopper 10-stop ND filter.

I don't get it, are you saying it is currently hard to do with a DSLR? Simply taking multiple shots of the same scene and then blending together the areas that don't have people doesn't seem to hard to do in post to me, and for some it's a common processing technique. The deghosting function in HDR software also does this. Granted it seems like a neat feature for a phone, but I don't use the camera on my phone anyway (except to take pictures of things like labels so I remember them when I get where I'm going).
