I can bump this for you but not help you!:(

I have heard of people having all sorts of problems getting Nik stuff to work properly

but fortunately everything has been smooth sailing for me (WinXPSP2 with ColorEfexProComplete3, and the latest of everything else, except I don't have HDR).

Seems Nik has a bit of a ways to go to get their customer service level up to par with competitors like onOne who are outstanding.

Have you tried asking in Flickr? You have the force of numbers there!
