What software do I need to use to change the name on my camera?

I bought my DSLR used from Adorama and I didn't get a whole lot of documentation with it, let alone a CD. I did notice though that the previous owner's name still comes up in the exif data so whenever I run my files through LR3 I have to either inject my own custom exif or just set it to one of the minimal exif parameters when exporting, otherwise it'll still say the photographer's name.

I looked in the camera menus and there aren't any options for changing the copyright info. I'm assuming I have to plug the camera in via the firewire cable that I got with it, but what software would I need to change the copyright holder's name?

You do that with EOS Utility that can be downloaded from the Canon site, but Canon software generally requires a previous installation (like from the disc) before it will install. This article contains some info on how to work around that:
