Would a Centering issue cause both Front and Back focus in the same image?

Thx Kenji: semi-relevant... i don't have that issue with my EF 50/1/4.

50mm f/2 hand-held(sitting) 1/6 :) ISO 400...and 1/2 in the bag. :o
