Well as promised a few more photos from the final day of the RAC which mainly took part in the Kielder forest complex. It was an early start leaving the house at 4am to get into the forest for just after 5am, I had decided to view a stage mid way so drove into the forest approx 6 miles the only problem being apart from the dark
was that it was extremly foggy with visability down to about 20 feet and with a temperature of -6° which made the forest tracks interesting
when I reached my chosen spot there was nobody else anywhere around and the fog was getting worse, as the cars started to pass through the stage I attempted to take some photos but the thick fog was seriously hampering this so I decided to put the camera down and watch a stage (which made a nice change)
At around 7am I moved to a different stage further down the valley where the freezing fog was clearing and it was getting light so here are the shots
Charlie Taylor still going strong

and fans of classic rallying should be in for a treat at Christmas up at Croft as Hopefully Steve Perez will be there with his Lancia Stratos and providing he has no other commitments Malcolm Wilson could be driving Steve Perez's classic Audi Quattro
