I`m trying to find some user info on a Feisol 3371 tripod. I`m thinking about upgrading to a Canon 600mm f4. I`m going to get a good gimbal head, but was wondering if the Feisol 3371 will be good enough for this lens? Or should i look around for a stronger tripod. Anyone out there use this tripod with a big heavy lens?

Troy

I can't speak for the 3471 however I do own the 3401 which is rated at 19lbs to the 3471 26lbs.

I was able to pull down on the 3401 with all my might and could not get the legs to slip at all so their weight specs seem to be pretty on.

I have no direct experience with Feisol tripods, but my friend, Peter Hurley uses a 3472LV. Here's his preview. (external link) It may or may not help you.
