The biggest issue I have shooting LAX is the sun. I'm not sure I can do much about that. I usually only shoot the half of the game where the sun is in their face so I can see them better. If I shoot with the sun behind them I get a lot of dark faces or blown-out backgrounds. I actually prefer a little cloud cover.

@OP - Dang your first picture looks almost identical to one I shot a few years ago!

Keep the sun at your back if at all possible.
