Shooting in a dimly lit gym at ISO 6400. Lightroom 3 does a nice job on noise reduction.

Nice stuff.....I did the same yesterday with my T2i basic 18-55 lens and wished I could get shots like this. I will have to continue to save money and get a quality lens that will shoot on this level. This was my first time and I was shooting in sports mode. I need to learn how to shoot in other settings to capture quality shots. Again, good stuff!

Don't shoot in "sports" mode. Take control of your camera and select what you need.

Good eyes! I edited out an arm from a player near her head. A novice wouldn't notice that.

I just checked and the last shot was taken last week and it was ISO 3200.
