My wife and I decided to take a day off from the grandkids and visit Newport Beach, primarily to photograph pelicans. Never found one, but did manage to find this backyard that backs up to Balboa Yacht Club. Absolutely spectacular and I can only imagine what the gardener bill must be because this was on a downward slope with many steps and paths, probably encompasing a good 3/4 acre. Comments always appreciated and respected.

Have plenty of Canons, enough ammo, enough to blow 'em to "L". Now, I just have to learn to aim.

An explosion of color! Too bad about the lack of pelicans but, I think you found a better subject to focus on. :)
