The weather has been so lovely, my grandchildren and I decided to go exploring. The kids call it going on walkabout. We searched the fields and found antler sheds and set out through the woods to find all sorts of things. They picked me flowers and tucked them in my hair. Soon my pockets were full of snail shells and pretty rocks. We had a marvelous time. I used to do this with their mother and now love to continue the adventure with them. I thought I might share some of our fun.

Very nice shots indeed!

I did a similar thing with one of my granddaughters last summer (10 yr old). We just took pictures of things with color, texture, even some industrial. It gave us a lot to talk about and time together that I know I'll always cherish. I also found she has a very good eye and ability to frame a shot.
