So I was hanging out at the marsh in the park I like to frequent kind of discouraged. It was a beatiful Saturday, but most of the migratory waterfowl seemed to have moved on for the year. Then I caught sight of this Ibis in the grass...

My favorite of the series as he obligingly flew right by my lens!

And then headed away for good. At least the day wasn't a total disappointment :)

Excellent images Ed. Glad your patience paid off.
I think I like #2 the best due to the close nature of the subject. #3, if cropped more closely, could steal my vote though; I do love the colors in that one. They all have very nice focus and IQ, and you did a great job with them.

can't help but wonder why they are called white faced. Good set, with no 3 being the outstanding one for me, love the colours on the bird and the bokeh.
