I had decided to not bring the 5D and 24-105 along since I had not needed it on the previous excursions. I therefor only had my 40D with 100-400 so this is what I got. The rainbow on the ground was really cool. The clouds were right down in the little valley and laden with moisture. It was the light refracting through that moisture rather than true rain. Sure wish I had the wide camera/lens at the time to do it real justice. Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.

Shooting with the long lens distorted the perspective. I was shooting up the hillside from a deck about 35 feet above the water. Too close with the 100-400 to get the water and the rainbow in the frame, even at 100mm. Bless the recently fallen and their family and friends.
