. . . and the cover photo is once again . . . SURPRISE---a photo of Yosemite! Do they have a rule over there that every other issue has to be a photo of Yosemite? C'mon, give us a break! The photo isn't even cover worthy.

It took me two days to clone out all the crystal shops and tourists, and even then all the energy from the vortex's overexposed my frame! 6D, G9, Sigma 50 1.4, Sigma 15mm Fisheye, Sigma 50 2.8 macro, Nikon 14-24G 2.8, Canon 16-35 2.8 II, Canon 24-105 f/4 IS, Canon 70-200 2.8 IS, tripod, lights, other stuff.

The only reason I haven't let my subscription lapse is because somehow I got paid up through August of next year. Once that date passes, I'm not renewing... John

ToddLambert I don't like titles More info | Mar 11, 2012 18:52 | #7 Agreed, it's tiring to see the same places make the cover. There's a lot of beautiful landscape out there, that doesn't happen to be inside of a National Park.

Mar 11, 2012 19:16 | #8 I suspect that the covers are chosen for "news stand" appeal. Same reason the car mags have babes on the covers. It's for the impulse buyers. Subscribers don't buy for the cover art. My Gear: More than I need, less than I want.
