Not ideal picture taking conditions - misty, cold and getting dark. It didn't help that the service period was a little late starting.

At least the wheels on Stig Blomqvist's car were clean.

Higgins again down the start/finish straight - it's starting to get really dark

Jeremy Easson passing the pits - darker again. up goes the ISO setting and on goes the 24-70 (its the fastest glass I had with me)

Gloom sets in when David Stokes passes in his Escort Mk I RS1600

After that it just got silly to continue and I wasn't going to pop flash in the eyes of the drivers as they approached the haybales. By 4.30 it was completely dark.

Looking forward to the Christmas Stages Rally on 27th December

Good stuff Dave! There's something about Mk1s.

Great stuff Dave, I was supposed to be going to Croft on Tuesday but after the early start and the weather conditions and the fact that I passed a nice warm pub that sold food;) , I decided to give it a miss as I had all the shots I needed

Cheers
Ian

I remember my teacher at primary school getting a Mk1 and I was sooooo impressed! :)

Nice series, especially given the weather and light conditions.
