Here's some information I extracted:
- total sensor resolution is 7728 x 5368, usable resolution is 38MP in 4:3, 34MP in 16:9 mode
- default still image setting is 5MP, which is created from "pixel oversampling".
- zoom is just in-camera cropping the total sensor image
- lens is 28mm equivalent, f/2.4 Carl Zeiss prime lens, includes LD element
- sensor size is 1/1.2" (really large for a phone, even compact cameras are smaller), roughly 1/4 the area of an APS-C sensor
I think it's an interesting piece of technology (the images aren't bad), but is it wasted in a smartphone? (and a Symbian one at that)
