Hey all,
My partner and I just finished shooting an event and our camera's times are a bit off by 1 hour. To make sorting and editing easier, I want to adjust my RAW files' shoot time. Is this possible?

I have Adobe's CS5 creative suite and Lightroom. I'll look into LR and see if I can change the settings, thanks! http://patrickengman.com

Thanks for the help! I think I've got this handled, now. Good stuff. http://patrickengman.com

Did you verify that the Raw file was indeed modified, just by using the Change dialog? I'm asking 'cause I haven't messed with it myself, and am wondering if you would have to do a "Save Metadata to File" command...? "Save Metadata to File" is the command to write an xmp file. It has nothing to do with the original RAW. Elie / אלי

Yeah, I know that's what it's designed to do...I just seemed to recall that you may need to do something "extra" with the Capture Style change, but like I said I never tried it and was curious... Hmm good point. I'll have to check it out. As far as my workflow, it allowed me to put everything in order which works out just fine. I'll have my partner export the files and we'll see if they're still in order. I can't remember if there was a save option but I'll take a look. http://patrickengman.com

For example, if you look at the Raw in something like DPP or Photoshop, will it show the correct capture time? You should be able to check also by just looking at the date/time in your file browser. But, if you only work on the original in Lightroom it shouldn't matter, since other stuff won't care until it's exported. Ohhhh, okay. That makes sense. I just changed the time, exported the jpeg and went back to check on the .CR2 file's properties and the time was still intact. http://patrickengman.com
