I tripped over the USB cord while the camera was tethered to my laptop. The USB connector in the body got completely trashed and now the camera will not communicate to my laptop. I could just buy a card reader to download my photos but the USB port supports additional functionality :(

I am trying to be optimistic that the estimate will be cheap.
I'm still shooting. I have a T2i. I miss the ergonomics and AF of the 7D the most.
