I have purposely stayed away from third party batteries. The one I have used with my 50D does not hold a charge as good as the OEM, and it is newer with fewer cycles on it.

I like it, that would make a nice B&W too...little dust specs on the upper right caught my eye ;)

Thanks I like to get an oem brand but it just too much maybe I can get a used ones from craiglist.

I have 3rd party batteries with my t2i and they are very good perhaps I should check the brand on that.

small price in the grand scheme of things IMO. Why trust good $$ gear to an aftermarket battery.

Check the buy/sell here and FM, there are used ones out there to be found, the 5DII uses the LP-E6 too, so folks unloading their 5DII kit might have some too.

Some Alice Cooper concertphotos shot using the new firmware 2.0, if that makes any difference i can't say but the 7D performed like a champ as expected. :)

Nothing coming from the bottom, it is a reflection pool about 18" deep. So you are seeing the ceiling.
