TRhoads Cream of the Crop More info | Aug 12, 2012 13:04 | #4345 At 11PM last night I headed up to Brasstown Bald in North Georgia, it is the highest point in the state. I went to try to shoot the Perseid Meteor Shower. The quantity of visible meteors was much less than advertised, but I managed to catch a couple. I spent more time learning to shoot stars with the 7D, and was very happy with the high ISO capability. #2: The Milky Way, it was really visible to the naked eye, it was very cool early in the evening. #3: Part of the observatory.
