I was about to comment on the same photos...
Beanie's Dad, Twistys- great job!

I like the Sigma 17-50 for studio lighting stuff. I'm not completely sold with what I've gotten from the lens during event-style, run and gun, natural light shooting. But maybe that's because I'm spoiled by how it looks when its strobed.

Thanks Snafu, first off you can check my exif by clicking on the flickr link and click on the right where its says " This photo was taken on October 13, 2012 using a Canon EOS 7D. "
that will get you the shot settings

but what it does'nt show is I used a 3 stop ND filter then a 9 stop ND filter on top of that on some of my shots,, its hard to say which combinations I used on each shot cause I'm constantly changing and trying new things/results. but yeah tripod and intervalometer are a must to get those shots.

Good luck Russ and thanks for the thanks.

& Russ yeah what Gerry said too :)

good times! i will check out the EXIF and see about getting some ND filters as i dont own any and i am running into times during the day that i would need them or they may come in seriously handy!

also what do you recommend in the ND filter category?
