Regarding the "green" tint issue I consulted a couple of the most knowledgeable guys around here and the issue was more of an increased warmness due to the grass reflection (yes it does exist Redfire) throwing my WB off. It turned out that a correction of the blue channel along with a decrease of the overall saturation changed the look of the pics. This one was the worse. The effect seemed not to be a big issue in other pics, so no...not all of pics were green. Here is the new version vs the old...

As a constructive criticism to all guys here. Please guys try to really give good criticism. I thank Redfire for his/her honesty among the scant few that chimed in. I ask repetitively about any one else's view and the silence was sepulchral...we are here to learn. For praises alone we do not learn. Of course if something is just awesome we must voiced our opinion too, praise also motivates us.

Looks very nice, Brain! I'm looking at getting into some manual lenses myself. I think when I get my bonus next month, I'll try to find an m42 mount Takumar 50mm f/1.4.

Have you tried any of the 135mm f/2.8 manual lenses?

BTW, what brand adapter do you use? Got one with the focus confirm chip?

Thanks man! Ive been seeing good things about that lens, maybe its time to give it a try sometime soon.

My adapter is AF confirm and is almost always spot on. Cannot remember the brand though.

I don't have any M42 mount lenses yet, but want to get some primes. The adapters are so cheap, I'll probably try a few... but it will be nice to have the focus confirm.

I wonder... does the focus confirm work when you select a single point for focus? Like if you select the farthest right point, does it indicate when that point is in focus?

Ive always used them with the center point, my guess is that it would function with any point.

So today I decided to take some time and try the AI Servo mode. My dogs in the afternoon love to chase each other so here is my first try at some fast panning shots:

IMAGE: http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a198/chaman3872/Fotografia/IMG_1697.jpg

IMAGE: http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a198/chaman3872/Fotografia/IMG_1699.jpg

IMAGE: http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a198/chaman3872/Fotografia/IMG_1700.jpg

Thanks to the high fps burst of the 7D the shots can easily tell the story of that short segment of his run. In the 2nd shot you can him closing his eyes just before ducking the wood beam and later opening them to continue the chase. I love this thing!
