I learned there is an art and method to taking fireworks photos this summer. I did not have all of the necessary equipment at the time but do now and am looking forward to greater success the next time I attempt taking the shots.

We won round 1 today. It was close as we played a little flat in the first half and trailed 12-6. but we really picked up our game the way we normally play and won 27-20. It was cool that my son scored the go ahead TD in the 4th and finished the game with an interception just as the clock ran out. He almost had a pick-6 but, oh well....

The weather turned foul and we had to move the game off the mountain to our alternate field in Lucerne Valley. Our field was covered in snow and the other team could not make the drive up the mountain safely. Next weeks game is going to be a really tough one.
