Just had a glorious holiday in Hawaii
Fabulous shots. The point-of-view is fantastic for both shots.
Very creative Marm!
Thanks! I was excited about the concept before I started. It took *longer than I wanted* to execute a *worse than I wanted* result.
On a different note, I totally dig your photo. It has gobs of ambiance and feels almost like it is from a movie set... if only the chainlink weren't there. Great capture. I'd love to see it dramatically lit in the evening... oooooh, chills

Welcome to the 7D thread!
=Cap'n Fishy;15402307]Like it - must have taken quite a bit of effort to do... it reminds me of a documentary I watched a couple of nights ago on Vlad the Impaler. Ouch!
Thanks. Yeah, about 6 photos got merged and all of them were semi-caarefully planned. If I re-visit the concept I am going to change quite a few things. The lighting on the wooden guy is about the only thing I really
liked about it.
nice grunge feel, all the way around
=Cap'n Fishy;15403627]A wee set from Lauderdale taken earlier this year all with the wonderful 135mm f2 on the 7D...
I've since added a 5DIII to my kit and it has created a bit of a conundrum, as the 135 is so good, but it's a bit short on the 5DIII for my main use, which is fishing action shots. I bought a 2nd-hand 200mm f2.8 to get the extra length, and I reckon the IQ from the 7D plus 135 beats the 5DIII plus 200! I'll carry on using the 7D and the 135 for the action...
Fantastic set. I have thought several times about adding either the 135 or the 200 to my kit. Thanks for the input.
I love the first cow photo and the doggy.
superb idea, execution, and processing. Very well done.
