It's the locations—one can't help but make a good picture around here (British Columbia, Alberta, the Rockies). It's so beautiful.

Regarding your star trails—I notice that your star trails are 'dotted': I suppose the 1s or so interval between long exposures is showing. Any ideas about how to correct that?

thanks for that, I'm leaning a bit more toward this edit also, but i gotta figure out how to balance it a little better (I'm considering blurring out the stuff in the cab to give it a more focused look but I'm just not sure right at the moment.

I dont know! Some of the gaps are caused by cloud, but it does look like there are small gaps, perhaps there is an issue with my technique or camera or star trails merging ?
