I have seen a good amount of deals on CL but I never pull the trigger just in case it was stolen. I remember a 7D for $700 or something in miami I believe and it was a red flag. Clearly the selling didn't anything about it.

Shopping for a 70-200 right now. Had a guy trying to sell a f4 non-IS for $850, claiming it was a 2.8. I got a laugh...

Another guy had a f2.8 non-IS for $900 and I was ready to go, but he refused to meet at a public place...

Good deal on a MkII IS for $1800 OBO...but out of my budget.

Tamron 28-75 and 17-50 along with an XSi for $600...didn't seem bad. Clean gear too, boxes and all...

Hoping a deal on a f4 IS solidifies tomorrow at a very nice price. I chimed in about 3 hours after it posted so I hope I did not miss it...

I love the CL!

Sigh. I finally saw the Rokinon 8mm I've been wanting, on CL for $200 OBO, but I didn't pull the trigger and now it's gone. Not a crazy good deal, but definitely kicking myself a little.

still find craigslist too much of a hassle for a busy person. I would rather pay a little extra here and get what I want from some great guys.

I am tired of selling on Craigslist... Take numerous calls, texts, etcc..... Meet here or there only to have flakes. At least here or FM I can just drop it in the mail. Worth the shipping.

What hapens if you get screwed because you used paypal....remember the buyer is well protected by paypal...the seller not so much....there are more then enough examples here on POTN, plus I have my own "wonderful" experience...

that being said, if time is a premium well....;)

I sent this guy an email saying I'll take the camera, and as he must have misplaced the decimal, I asked whether it was supposed to be $5 or $50, and that I'd give him $30. :) I'm terrible.....

If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?

you post a story here..
then people feel bad for you, cause it wasn't totally your fault...
someone sets up a fund, and you get an even better lens than the one you turned into the police station...

:)

or you just turn it in, and are SOL
