I went out to a site I plan to visit in the next few months. These birds were unsuccessful last year, so i didn't go out there much. Not sure if they just really like me, or just don't want to move off of their perch on top of the cliff...but they allowed me to get really close...hopefully they are successful this year, and their young are just as easy going. thanks for looking.

yeah, i was definitely amazed when they kept flying back and forth from the perch while i was still sitting on the cliffs edge

yup...i've been close a few times with injured falcons that are being transported, but this was a new experience...i was surprised they never did any defensive vocalizing or anything...i did catch one yawning at one point :)...thanks for the compliments tom

thanks, there are a few other spots i've watched that have done well, but i'll cross my fingers for these guys...i am starting to wonder if they are a pair i used to watch a few years ago...they are just down the coast, so it is possible

thanks, yeah it was starting to get good...the whole chance of hiking back in the dark forced me to leave even though it was getting better...i did have to bring out the shadows in the shots though
