I have a Crumpler 7 MDH right now and I never actually carry all my gear with me when I walk around and it's a bit of a pain in the ass to empty the bag and refill it, so I'm thinking of getting a smaller bag for every day walk around street photography. I want to be able to carry the following :

7D
Tokina 11-16 with hood
Tamron 17-50 with hood
Maybe in the future, a Yongnuo 565.
remote cable switch
extra CF cards
A set of filters
and maybe a place to stash my keys

Now I love my 7 MDH but I feel it's just too big to carry around everywhere but I love the fact that it doesn't look like a camera bag, which is very important to me, so I've been looking at the 5MDH but I'm not sure if it will be able to hold all that stuff. What do you guys use? What's recommended?

It should fit--it will be full, but it is a small bag. I have the 5 7 and 8 MDH bags and I use the 5 for my 7D, 11-16, and 24-105 with a 430EXII and a few accessories. It fits, but is tight. You might have trouble with the hoods--I never use mine. It is a nice bag to carry around all day though--especailly compared to the 8 MDH full of gear.

I use a Think Thank Retrospective 30 but sounds like that would be too big for your needs. Anyway, here's my review (external link) in case you're interested.

6MDH is pretty small. I originally bought cuz I wanted something smaller to take with me. Unfortunately, it doesn't fit all of my gear however I'm able to take my gripped T3i, two lenses and a flash without the bag looking like it's ready to explode. I use the LowePro 202AW to carry everything when I need to.

How about the Retrospective 5 (external link)? If you feel that is too small, then a 10 would also be a great option. Granted they are all over $100
