Hi,

I have a question regarding Madison Square Garden's camera policy, but not sure if this is the right section of the forum to post. If it isn't, please forgive me.

According to the garden's website, a 35mm (with no zoom or telephoto lens) is allow.

I will be attending the Knicks game tomorrow and really want to bring my 5DII, along with the 17-40/4L, and possibly the 35/1.4L. Has anyone been to a Knicks game and brought in something similar as mine without being told otherwise? I don't want to bring my gears and be told later on at the gate that it won't be permitted. Thanks in advance.

Not shure about MSG but you don't know how many times I've been at a big event where they say no big lenses and I leave mine in the car only to find out when I'm in and look around you see all kinds of long lenses.I guess that's what big coats are for.

Call them to see what their policy is. I know that arenas are pretty strict if it is a major team. Better to be safe than sorry...
