I'm on an iPad, so I can't be sure, but I think the WB is just a touch cool. I'd try lifting the shadows just a notch in post. Great action.

Thank you. I am just a weekend warrior so any tips are much appreciated. The lighting was odd with bright sunlight in some areas and deep shadows in others and sometimes in the same frame. The deep navy blue jerseys don't help the situation either. Thanks.

Well that's pretty good action capture. And that's the key.

What software are you using?

If you are shooting wide open, and you shoot AV, and the subject will be backlit, try EC+1/3 or as much as +1. Shoot some warm ups, watch the histogram, get it more to the right side.
