Do you guys think I can fit these into a Domke F6...

1Ds Mk II with 1 or 2 extra batteries
15mm Fisheye
16-35 II
28-70
Lee Filters multi pouch
Lee Foundation kit
remote switch

How comfortable is the bag on long walks/treks? Is it possible to get some padded inserts for this bag? I LOVE the looks of the Domke bags! Very Indiana Jones like :D Thanks guys!

No. Go for the F2 instead. With the Post Office Strap, it's as comfortable as or more comfortable than any other shoulder bag out there given the same gear load, but if I'm doing more walking than shooting with any bag, I'll use the Domke or Tenba backpack strap accessories.

Thanks guys for suggestions! Finally had the chance to trek over to B&H with my gear and try out a few Domke's. After driving the guys at B&H crazy trying different bags I ended up with the F-6. The F-2 was very close. With the F-2 I was planning on storing the Lee multi filter pouch standing up in one of the outside pockets but I wouldn't fit. They're all too short. This meant it had to go into the main compartment which isn't much larger than the F-6 main compartment. I can get everything that I usually carry in my Crumpler 7 Million bag into the F-6! I was shocked! This little bag can hold a lot! Can't wait to take it out for a test drive.

Excellent write-up! I love the material they used. I've got a black Tenba Messenger due in tomorrow, wish it was green, but oh well. Bought used for a great price...These theads are very useful when such details are shared like you did, and pics included!

That's only because he got the OD version. They also come in sand and (blah) black. Except for two grey bags (F1x and F2), one black (F-612, which doesn't come in any other colour, but does nicely for the 300 2.8) and a navy blue (F2), mine are all sand. And I really need a sand F1x for birding - the grey just doesn't cut it there.

Great gear!
You've added a Domke Postal Pad. That's a great accessory.

Thanks guys! Next I'll try my wife's 5D instead of my 1Ds MK II. Will definitely free up some space and weight!

I like the poster's colour combination. Find the "Domke" label isn't so obvious. My F2 is that colour (got it used; I've quite come to like it.) My F3/X is ruggedwear. I should have bought sand. ;-)aI quite like the thicker fabric in the original bags.

This was one of the reasons I got the olive green. The label blends in and doesn't stand out.
