I got an email saying Amazon had LR3 on sale for 1 day for $79. That was a few days ago as of this post. Do what you love, and you will never work a day in your life.

With just a handful of 11MB RAW files in the library, I very rapidly build up memory usage while developing. When it gets above 1GB of memory use I get out-of-memory errors on my 4GB 32-bit Win7 laptop. I have to close LR and restart it to continue (until the next lockup).
