I am switching from Aperture3 to LR3 and moving my raw files to folders for LR to point to. In Aperture there is the option to export masters and include the sidecar files as well. My question is, if I do so, will LR be able to read the side car files and thus save having to reprocess everything? My first time making such a change and want to insure I get it right. Any comments and suggestions will of course be appreciated.

Hmm...I don't have a Mac, but I really don't see Aperture and Lightroom "sharing" anything other than possibly something like keywords, although Aperture would have to store them in a way that Lightroom "understands"...and for Raw files I'm dubious.

That is my concern and thanks Tony. I was not sure if the sidecar files cross platforms, but suspecting no.
