I had the pleasure of being invited to go to the Pawnee National Grasslands last weekend by a flickr friend. What a fantastic place, and considering I'd never heard of it before it's one I will be visiting again often. I'm still not done processing all of the shots just yet, but here's the ones I've got so far. Thanks for looking and all constructive comments are appreciated.

All great shots ! I see tho that those large wind turbines has infested the horizon in a few of the images . Maybe you can clone them out .

Super shots and it looks like a great location for further exploring/photographing.

I especially like the 2nd shot. ;)

Jon! A couple of old friends and I used to ride dirt bikes out there around the buttes. Very neat area. I still see them every trip to Denver area.

The one thing the shot's don't indicate is how windy it was there. When we were shooting from the top of the bluffs it was windy enough I never let go of my camera even though my tripod legs were set to extra wide. It really is no wonder the area's been infested.

I hadn't thought about cloning them out. They are a perminent part of the landscape now.

What a great area to ride around in! I can't think of a better natureal one really. Between the rise and fall of the terrain and the natural jumps everywhere. The only thing that would scare me are the hidden gullies which would take you down if you weren't aware of them.
