it is the ultimate boning. I'm not sure if Microsoft is still providing 3+ years warranty coverage against that. I think they stopped that.

Wrap it in a towel and let it run. If it is the solder to a connection, that should help. Fixed mine. :)

I shut it off for 1/2 hour and it came back to life. So I guess it;s all good.

It doesn't melt the solder, but it does work. I saw it on another forum after it happened to me, and it has been fine ever since. :)
