I thought the d800E is better with moire

Nope. It has no AA filter. This would introduce moire in certain situations. Specifically with certain clothing patterns and architecture.

Isn't there a very easy fix for moire in LR or Pshop though?

I am an exception to that!

But it's okay - I understand that "guy" is just a generic everyone... I think. Maybe I was being skipped on purpose. Hmmm...

Guy or guys is anybody, male, female, chicken, it doesn't matter. Puppies on the other hand is different again.

I'm worried about the moire being an issue.

Yeah that is the catch with it. Software is good to get moire out but how good is it? Depends because due to AA filters being available the PP companies have not had to focus on creating great moire adjusters.

^^That's the catch. Moire in post can't be removed completely.

Hmm... well the advantage of the D800 is it's cheaper and you'd get it sooner, and well quite frankly AA filters haven't been a huge issue anyway.

It's a shame they don't come out at the same time then you could hold of a bit and see which one you prefer.

If you're really concerned about moire just get the D800. :D

But it's all in good fun, None of us mean it when we take the mickey out of anybody. Well, nearly all of us, I'm not too sure about MOko's rat eating stalker friend, he's a bit different.

Why?
