As long as he doesn't want Football for dinner Wuzzi.

Actually, Football's brother George is scared to death of Merri, but won't react to the stray dog, so we're pretty sure they're definitely from the same household. It's sad that people are put into positions where they have to part with their pets, but abandoning them to whatever seems unnecessarily cruel. Then again, most shelters demand "surrender fees" when people try to give them their animals, which makes it difficult for owners to deal with them responsibly if they're in a serious situation. :(

Do boy cats have nipples too?

I can't find them on my cats with all their fur, but I'm pretty sure they have very small ones that don't serve any purpose. When I googled wikipedia (but we know how wonderfully accurate that can be) said the only male mammals without nipples are mice and horses, for what it's worth. Mr Twisty doesn't like to be touched very much and Ashe is kind of grumpy about the extra cat in the house and was on my piano - I didn't want it scratched too much, so when he got grumpy I quit looking...

Hard to say - definitely possible and probably fairly common when you're dealing with the "mutts" of the cat world. I suspect that part of this would be her brother's (though not necessarily - he seems to get beat up more than anything else). There's a larger tabby tom that was hanging around when she first showed up. She never showed obvious signs of heat here, so I think her cycle was actually already over when they showed up on our doorstep, but there was still enough of the pheromones left that the boys were still keeping an eye out on her.

These ones certainly hit the jackpot - Keith insisted they had to have canned food if they were living outside because they needed the extra kindness.

Would they have as many nipples as girl cats? Would a bull have nipples, cause aren't they utters on a female cow?

Yes I have. I'm not sure if I want to put that extra step in my workflow. What do you think? Stay with the E and die?;)

That's my opinion. E or nothing!

Hey - it was Chet who wanted to know if he had nipples.... :p

ROFL Mr Twisty, I suspect, has some kind of skin condition, though he has no bald patches, etc., that give me a clue. He has a very limited "petting" tolerance and has various parts of his body that he can't stand to have touched at all. He will actually meow kind of pitifully at you if you touch him those places. I really think it is part of what made him so violent when I adopted him - that people were treating him like every other cat in the world and there are things that make him unwilling to behave like one.

He's another fascinating critter - the rare times I've had to bathe him he has desperately tried to get away (of course), but whenever a paw would touch my skin he would pull away quickly rather than accidentally getting a claw stuck in me. He was willing to dig claws into the side of the tub, etc., in hopes of escape, but not to dig them into my flesh. I can't tell if I've been lucky to get critters with personality or if I'm just so willing to let them be who they are I just get to see a lot of varied personalities in my pets. :)

Chet, do you have nipples? Just because you have nipples does not mean that you have to have the large endowment that a female would have for milk production.

A bull having nipples is similarly not a big deal.

Have you ever seen a bull in person? It's so fascinating how much more chest and shoulder there is to a bull compared to a steer... :)
